In 2008, I traveled to Rome by myself.
One of my older sons was working over there at the time, teaching English. Not anticipating a winter in Rome (his original plan had been to finish the TOEFL certificate course over there, then head to Vietnam..but Rome cast its spell…), he’d left his warmest jacket over here in the States. So I thought I should probably take it to him.
Mike took the kids to Florida for the week, and I flew to Rome.
Here are the posts for that trip, lifted from Charlotte. They are still over there, but the photo links are all dead anyway because of Flickr shenanigans, so I thought I’d just redo them and bring them over here. If you want to read them (mostly) in order, click on that link, then go to the second page and read backwards. I should have posted them in reverse order…but I didn’t.
Let’s see…Rome in 2006.…Rome in 2008…I’m way overdue, I do believe….
